Chargers star ranked highest in mock draft of all decades

The Los Angeles Chargers will enter the 2024 season armed with several stars on the defensive side of the ball. Los Angeles revamped the entire team under new head coach Jim Harbaugh, giving them real credibility for the first time in a long time.

Los Angeles will look to turn things around after the poor season they put together last year and the defense will lead the way. The defense has been the anchor for the Chargers as of late, led by one of their best players drafted over the years.

Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus did a mock draft of the entire decade and ranked star defensive end Joey Bosa near the top. He came in as the third pick in the mock draft.

“Bosa has slowed down over the past two years as his age and injuries caught up with him. But we can’t forget that he earned an elite PFF overall grade in five of his first six years with four D grades. “Elite. Quinnen Williams is coming off two consecutive elite seasons as one of the best interior defensive linemen in football, and he could certainly reach the top spot here soon.”

Bosa has been special in the league since he was drafted out of Ohio State, so it makes sense that he would be on this list. His ability to get to the quarterback position is impressive and has allowed his career to flourish.

Unfortunately, injuries have taken their toll on him in recent years, but Bosa has tried to get through it. If he can stay healthy this season, the Bolts could have a good chance to surprise some people this year.
