Manchester United fans have reacted to the offer announced by Barcelona.

Manchester United fans have brutally mocked Barcelona’s announced offer for one of their star players.

New Barça boss Hansi Flick is looking for reinforcements before the summer transfer window reopens.

He has identified a world-class player and has also set his sights on a Man United starlet.

That’s according to Spanish outlet El Nacional, who claim Flick wants to build his midfield around Kobbie Mainoo and the Catalan giants have made an offer.

Barca are claimed to have deposited £8.5 million plus Raphinha in a swap deal for Mainoo.

However, the proposed deal did not go down well with Man United fans on social media as they made their feelings clear.

An X user wrote: “Barcelona can only buy it on FIFA.”

A second argued: “They value Raphinha at 70m, so that’s 78.5m, which isn’t even that bad.”

A third added: “This is the kind of offer you’ll laugh at.”

A fourth said: “Haha Breaklona, what are they thinking?

Another commented: “Luckily John Murtough left because he probably would have accepted this.”

Mainoo, 19, had a superb campaign last season making 32 appearances in all competitions.

He became a vital player under Erik ten Hag after playing against Everton at Goodison Park.

The talented midfielder has also chipped in with goals, scoring against the likes of Liverpool and Wolves.

It seems extremely unlikely that Man United will listen to offers for Mainoo, who is destined for a long stay at Old Trafford.

As for Raphinha, he scored 10 goals in 37 games in all competitions last season.

The left-footed winger shone at Leeds United before landing a move to Barça in the summer of 2022.

The La Liga side are reportedly willing to sell the Brazilian to fund new signings, with Tottenham and Liverpool reportedly interested in bringing the player back to the Premier League.
