‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Twist Confirms Taylor Swift Is MCU’s New Andrew Garfield

Well, that’s the end of that dream. After months and months of manic speculation, it is reported that Taylor Swift is not in Deadpool and Wolverine, after all. This confirmation comes to us via Weekly Entertainmentand we have no choice but to believe a respectable publication like that, right?

You know, just like how we 100%, absolutely, positively trusted Andrew Garfield when he swore firsthand that he wasn’t there. Spider-Man: No Way Home. And it’s not like he’s lying through his beautiful, perfect teeth, is it? Or that all his claims that he was “not the werewolf” were just fluff intended to cover up an exciting appearance in a Marvel blockbuster?

Yes, it’s entirely possible that there’s a new werewolf in town, and this time it’s Taylor Swift.

Is Marvel trying to cover up the Taylor Swift affair? Deadpool 3 cameo or are we just wrong?

What is curious about THISarticle denying Taylor’s involvement in Deadpool and Wolverine is that he offers no further information other than a brief dismissal of the rumors. A quick “sorry, she’s not here, guys… Anyway,” with no further information on how this scoop was discovered. There’s not even any mention of the old trusted “inside sources.”

Having been bitten (by a werewolf) once before, Marvel fans are therefore hesitant to trust this report at face value, and many believe Marvel is trying to maintain control over Swift’s actual cameo, somewhat like the studio was trying. to preserve the surprise of Garfield Spidey’s return in 2021.

It is certainly curious that this “confirmation” comes just a few days after a new Deadpool and Wolverine The trailer gave a glimpse of Lady Deadpool, a character many believe could be played by the Department of Tortured Poets singer. Did Marvel not foresee social media sleuths so quickly linking this character to Swift and now attempting damage control (from the department)?

Then there’s the new IMAX poster to think about, which doubles down on the marketing motif of Wade and Logan’s best friend bracelets – which is not only a Swifty signature, Blake Lively even wore the bracelets to the Super Bowl …alongside Taylor. The fact is that there is so much evidence linking Taylor to the film at this point that the denial seems as insignificant as a lone person screaming in the middle of an Eras tour concert.

Honestly, whether or not we believe this supposedly official announcement is beside the point, because it’s likely Marvel wins either way. Much like all the hubbub over Garfield being Schrödinger’s Spider-Man, interest in Taylor Swift’s potential Deadpool and Wolverine This role allowed an ever-growing audience to see this film as soon as possible, hoping to get a glimpse of the global superstar’s introduction to the MCU.

Taylor doesn’t even have to be in the movie, but she’s already the Andrew Garfield of Deadpool 3. Of course, if Andrew himself also appears in this movie, Marvel fans might never get over it.
