EastEnders has explosive spoilers for the Mitchell family next week.

Spoilers for next week reveal a disturbing twist for Stevie Mitchell as estranged son Billy Mitchell becomes concerned. Elsewhere, the Mitchell family is more worried when it is revealed that Billy’s son, Will, is being blackmailed when he resorts to desperate measures to pay up.

Stevie Mitchell’s disturbing twist

Stevie unexpectedly returned to Walford last month, leaving son Billy shocked and furious at his arrival. The character debuted earlier this year at the funeral of Sal’s aunt, who died off-screen. He was warned by Phil Mitchell, who was determined to keep him away from Cousin Billy. After escaping, the hero returned last month and is desperately trying to reconnect with his estranged family.

Spoilers for next week have Father’s Day in Albert Square and Stevie, Jack, Billy and Howie go on a group fishing trip with their sons. Wanting the boys to enjoy the great outdoors, Stevie confiscates Denzel, Will and Ricky’s phones to encourage them to reconnect with their fathers.

However, Billy soon begins to worry for his dad’s well-being when Stevie calls him by the wrong name. However, Billy’s concerns about Stevie’s apparent memory lapses are quickly forgotten when Will distracts him while he is forced to confiscate his phone upon his return to Walford. Is Stevie okay and what is Will hiding?

The horror of blackmail

When Billy is forced to confiscate Will’s phone, Stevie steps in to help defuse the situation before discovering that his grandson is about to steal money from Honey’s purse. Will plays innocent, but Stevie sees a message on Will’s phone that tells a different story and forces him to reveal everything – Will is being blackmailed in a shocking way. Stevie then sets out to reveal everything to Billy, but bottles it up at the last minute and asks Mo for help instead…

Later in the week, Mo and Stevie sell stolen goods at the market to raise money for Will. The pair get off to a great start, but it’s not long before Phil interferes and Honey and Billy stop their unlicensed stand. At the end of the week, Lola’s fundraiser talent show at The Vic is in full swing, but Stevie is in no mood to celebrate because he feels guilty about letting Will down. Despite the argument, Mo lifts Stevie’s spirits and the pair perform a magical act that turns out to be a huge success. Later, the residents are horrified to learn that the fundraising money has been stolen… what happened and who is responsible?
