Eminem was the favorite at Glastonbury 2025 – Music News

Eminem is expected to be the headliner at next year’s Pyramid Stage festival at Glastonbury.

Co-host Emily Eavis has allegedly tried several times to get the rap icon to take part in the world-famous music extravaganza, but an insider claims Shady’s epic return means there’s a chance the “Lose Yourself” hitmaker will be able to be persuaded to pay the Worthy Farm bill in 2025.

A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column: ‘It’s been a long time coming but finally, after years of trying, Emily was able to get her wish.

“This is by no means a done deal, but with a successful comeback on the move, a huge headline next year makes sense.

“I’m sure everyone behind the scenes wants everything to work out.”

Eminem recently topped the charts with “Houdini” from his upcoming album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).”

This global hit combines many of Eminem’s classics with “Abracadabra” by the Steve Miller Band.

The music video takes fans back to the “Without Me” promo and allows him to relive moments from his iconic 2002 music video with guest stars: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Pete Davidson.

Eminem is even returning to his signature bleached blonde hair that he was known for early in his career.

The hip-hip star previously shared news of his new album during the 2024 NFL Draft in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan on April 25.

He appeared with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as they kicked off their annual player selection meeting, after which a trailer of a fake reporter announcing the death of Eminem’s alter ego, Slim Shady, was sent out.

They said: “With his complex and oft-criticized breakable rhymes, the blonde antihero known as Slim Shady had no shortage of enemies.”

His rap contemporary, 50 Cent, said, “He’s not a friend, he’s a psychopath.”

The reporter continued: “The same rude texts and controversial antics may have ultimately led to his death. Join me as we recreate the events that led to Slim Shady’s murder.”

In March, Dr. Dre has confirmed that he has songs on Eminem’s upcoming album.

On “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” he said, “Let me explain something to you now.

“Eminem is working on his own album that will be released this year and I actually talked to him and he said I wouldn’t mind announcing it here on this show.

“I have songs on it and it’s great. I’ll actually hear the whole album for the first time tomorrow. “He keeps his music close to his chest, so I didn’t hear everything. I haven’t even heard everything I’ve done, but I’m definitely going to hear it, and he’s releasing an album this year.”
