Resident Evil 7 is coming to Apple devices in July 2024; Apple port of Resident Evil 2 confirmed

Capcom announced that Resident Evil 7 will be released on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as iPad and Mac equipped with the M1 chip and later on July 2, 2024.

Gamers can expect Apple’s MetalFX scaling technology, improved controls, a new auto-trigger feature, and compatible Bluetooth controllers to deliver a home console-like experience. Cross-progression between iPhone, iPad and Mac will also be supported.

Additionally, potential players can try out some of the title at launch with a free download. The main game and the “Not A Hero” DLC will be bundled together upon release. Additionally, the Gold Edition upgrade will grant the “” Banned Footage Vol. 1” and “Forbidden Images Vol. 2”, “5-Coin Set” difficulty mode, “Survival Pack” and “Madhouse”. Pre-orders are now available.

Capcom also confirmed that the Resident Evil 2 the remake is in development for iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Resident Evil 7: biohazard represented a new birth for the series after the negatively received Resident Evil 6. Horror returned in full swing in this title, and it introduced a new protagonist, Ethan, alongside the Baker family and other memorable characters.

Resident Evil 7: biohazard is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
