Alia Bhatt reacts to terrorist attack on pilgrims in Reasi JK

Actress Alia Bhatt has expressed deep sadness and condemnation over the recent terrorist attack on a bus carrying pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district, which killed at least nine people. Taking to her Instagram stories, Alia shared her honest reaction, stating, “It’s heartbreaking. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. Violence against the innocent shakes the very core of our humanity.”

Earlier in the day, Priyanka Chopra had also expressed her concern and questioned the pervasive hatred being witnessed across the world. She wrote on her Instagram stories: “Devastated. This heinous attack on innocent pilgrims is terrifying. Why civilians and children?! “It’s hard to understand the hatred we are witnessing around the world.”

The feelings of grief and condemnation were shared by several other Bollywood stars, including Varun Dhawan, Mohit Raina, Parineeti Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Riteish Deshmukh and Anupam Kher. Each of them expressed their sadness and solidarity with the victims and their families on social media.

The gruesome incident took place on Sunday evening when a bus carrying pilgrims from Shiv Khori temple to Katra was attacked by terrorists in Pouni area of ​​Reasi district, which borders Rajouri district. As a result of the attack, the bus fell into a ravine, killing over 30 other passengers and injuring over 30 others.

According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba is behind this dastardly act. In response, the JK police formed 11 specialized teams to thoroughly investigate the attack.

A team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) also assessed the situation in Reasia. The NIA forensic team is working diligently to gather evidence to link the events leading up to the attack and identify those responsible.

This tragic event not only shocked the local community, but also sparked widespread condemnation and calls for justice across the country.
