MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow says she’s “worried” Trump will send her to “boot camp” if re-elected

Rachel Maddow “fears” that Donald Trump will send her to “camps” intended for illegal immigrants if he is re-elected president. The MSNBC host, who is famous for openly expressing her anti-Trump stance, expressed her concerns to CNN on Monday. The 51-year-old TV host claimed that the presumptive GOP nominee would arm the government and send the military to round up illegal immigrants if he wins in November.

“I worry for the entire country if we put someone in power who openly admits that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people and ‘eradicate’ what he describes in subhuman terms as the ‘enemy from within.’ Again, history is helpful here,” Maddow said.

She continued: “He’s not joking when he says this, and we’ve seen what happens when people take power with this kind of agenda.” She added: “For that matter, what convinces you that these massive camps he’s planning are intended only for migrants? I worry about myself, but only as much as I worry about all of us.

With recent polls showing a potential Trump victory over Joe Biden, Democrats have expressed serious concerns about his administration. “When Trump invokes the Insurrection Act to deploy the U.S. military against civilians on his first day in office, do you think he rescinds that order on his second day?” Maddow asked.

Rachel Maddow stirs emotions among Trump supporters

Following Maddow’s remarks about a potential Trump administration, MAGA activists and Republican Party supporters began voicing their dissatisfaction on social media. One X, a former Twitter user, wrote: “Maddow perpetuated many (if not all) of the deceptions that were tearing at the fabric of our society. How many people died because drug companies were protected and promoted by MSNBC?”

Another wrote: “They literally just applauded Hilary by suggesting they send Trump supporters to camps. This is ridiculous.” Meanwhile, activist Ryan Fournier said: “This is stupid and nothing more than to create fear for something that will never happen. Get help, Rachel.
