Max continues to work on the TV series “Conjuring”.

A prequel to these two Stephen King-based on THIS videos from Andy MuschiettiMax’s upcoming series “Welcome to Derry” will feature a comeback Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise the Clown, but when can you expect it to start streaming? Max plans to premiere in 2025.

HBO’s Casey Bloys told Variety this week: “One of the advantages I think we have as a company, leaving HBO aside for a moment, is all of the Warner Bros. intellectual property. So later Dragon Housethe next big tentpole series to come will be Penguin with Colin Farrell. This comes out of Matt Reeves’ work Batman and this is fantastic. As Arbitrator it came from James Gunn Suicide Squad, is a really good example of what can be done. It will be in September.”

“And then I don’t know if we’ve landed a date yet, but we will in the fall Dune a prequel series telling the origins of the Bene Gesserit. And then, going into ’25, we’ll have Stephen King This– continues Bloys. “Warner Bros. made two films – we also plan a series of prequels. And then of course Harry Potter series, further down. We’re still working with the writers on their takes.”

Andy Muschietti AND Barbara Muschietti AND Jason Fuchs are involved in Warner Bros.’ Pennywise prequel project. Television, and Muschietti is set to direct several episodes.

Taylor Paige (With Ola), Jovan Adepo (“Guardians”), Chris Chalk (“Perry Mason”), James Remar (Oppenheimer), Madeleine Stowe (Revenge) I Stephen Rider (Daredevil) star.

The action of the series will begin in the 1960s, i.e. in the period preceding the events of This: Part One, a 2017 film based on Stephen King’s horror novel. This story is also said to contain the origin story of Pennywise the clown.

Published in 1986, Stephen King’s powerful novel was, of course, first turned into a miniseries in 1990, with Tim Curry taking on the role later played in films by Bill Skarsgård.

The plot centers on the town of Derry, Maine, where a group of friends called the Losers’ Club battle Pennywise, the killer clown, first as children and then 27 years later as adults.
